Aaron Helvig has always been driven to success in many areas of music. He collaborates with several Nashville bands, songwriters, and producers as an arranger and trombonist. Prior to moving to Nashville in 2012, Aaron completed the Master of Music degree in Instrumental Conducting from Northern Arizona University. He has performed with many notable jazz and pop artists, such as Randy Brecker and The Temptations, and has toured with musical groups throughout the U.S. and Europe. Aaron has conducted several large and chamber ensemble groups, and currently teaches instrumental music at I.T. Creswell Arts Magnet Prep School in Nashville.

Chelsie Nicole studied Music and has been classically trained in Albany, Georgia at Darton State College. She has now moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her career in the music industry. Chelsie sang her first solo at 7 years of age and has been singing ever since. Being president and section leader of Show Choir, she got an opportunity to sing for the high school Jazz Band. It was soon after this that the Director of Darton's Jazz Band saw her video at random and called her to offer her a scholarship to sing for his band. Chelsie performed with them for 3 years and has received many opportunities in the community by being a part of the group. Chelsie has also won competitions; such as, Darton Star and WXTX X Factor. After winning Darton Star, she was able to open up for American Idol contestant Bo Bice before she passed her title down. The X factor competition landed her the opportunity to be flown to Rhode Island where she advanced in two rounds. She has also advanced in two rounds of The Voice. When she returned home from these experiences, she began teaching Voice Lessons. Chelsie has been working with students for over two years now and encourages all ages to get involved with progression of their talent. She has also worked with Phillip Phillip's hometown band as she became the lead singer after Phillip won American Idol. After moving from Georgia, she is more focused on songwriting, recording, and performing live shows than ever. Chelsie Nicole has released two independent singles, "Nobody Told Me" and "True Bliss". Both songs landed #1 on 92.6 The Blitz and has been played on other stations as well, such as The Chris Top Progam. Look for them on iTunes, Amazon, iHeart, Spotify, and more!

Together, Chelsie Nicole and Aaron Helvig make up the duo, Emberland. These two were off to a great start with their music shortly after Chelsie's move to Nashville. At about one year of shows, they brought original material together and worked up their ideas for an EP. At the start of 2016, with the idea to release their music by May, they came up with their name and got in the studio! With a mixture of sounds similar to The Civil Wars, Nickel Creek, and Fleetwood Mac, you will find their music to have meaning on many different topics.
